Q. About the Leather Used

Our products are made from natural leather.
Details regarding the type of leather, tanning method, and origin can be found in the “Materials” section.
As a natural material, each piece of leather may have individual variations such as scratches of different sizes and shapes.
Wrinkles, veins, and color unevenness are considered natural characteristics of the material.

Q. About Urushi Lacquer and Gold Powder Finish

Urushi lacquer and gold powder are finished using natural materials, and therefore variations in strength and appearance may occur.
If excessive force is applied or the finished area is bent sharply, cracking may occur. We consider this acceptable within normal use; however, if defects are found at the time of delivery, or if the urushi layer peels off and exposes the base material, please contact us via the “Contact” page.

Q. About Production

All products are made in our workshop in Japan.
From cutting and stitching to finishing, every process is carried out by our own hands.

Q. About Water Exposure and Color Transfer

Exposure to water or friction may cause color fading or color transfer.
Please take particular care when using the product with light-colored clothing.

Q. About Daily Care

If the product becomes wet, allow it to dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
The use of waterproof sprays or oils may cause mold or lead to peeling of the urushi finish. If you choose to use such products, please do so at your own discretion and responsibility.

Q. About Shipping and International Orders

We offer domestic shipping as well as international shipping to selected regions.
For international orders, additional shipping fees, customs duties, and import taxes may apply.

Q. About Delivery Time

Items in stock are usually shipped within 7 days.
For made-to-order items, please refer to the delivery time stated on the product page.

Q. About Returns and Exchanges

Except in cases of initial defects, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to differences in customer expectations or natural variations in materials.

Q. About Repairs and Aftercare

We offer free repair services for one year from the date of purchase, provided that the warranty card is presented.
Even within the warranty period, repairs will be subject to a fee in the following cases:

  • The warranty card is not presented

  • Damage caused by misuse or customer negligence

  • Damage resulting from repairs or modifications

  • Damage caused by friction, wear, natural material characteristics, or aging
